About the event

The King in Yellow is a horror improv based only thematically on the series of short stories by Robert Chambers contained within the book of the same name. The recipe will also include Shelley, Poe, Wells, Dunsany, Clark Ashton Smith, and others. The setting will be the turn of the century, just before a terrible horror is revealed, and the consequences thereof. Most of the laughter will be nervous laughter; anxiety, melancholy, fear, terror, and horror are the colors on the palette we will draw from.
