Impro Theatre School is the home of Narrative Improv training in Los Angeles. The school focuses on teaching artful storytelling, finding truth in the moment, and allowing comedy to arise out of it. Students will learn how to create full-length, unscripted plays built directly out of the creativity of the moment with nothing more than an audience suggestion. It's a flexible form unlike the highly structured forms of the Armando or Harold, and stands in contrast to the unstructured "montage" improv of possibly-connected scenes with once-off characters. Our instructors are working industry professionals who create a welcome, safe place for students of every age, background, and profession to discover the joys of Narrative Improv.
